Why did you join this class?

•  To learn how movies are really made, experiencing all the work that is done behind

the scenes. Plus, I heard this class is really fun, and the teacher is pretty cool. 

What do you hope to gain from taking this class?

•  I hope to have more knowledge about how to get those perfect shots and angles

when making a film. I would like to know more on how to edit films, and knowing

what it takes to put a film together.  

What do you know about cinematography?

•  All I know about cinematography is it is how a film is created. It is the filmmaking 

of the movies by getting the right shots using a special film camera, finding the right

lighting for every shot and scene, and it is the whole process when making a motion 

picture. 

What do you want to know about cinematography?

•  I want to know all the details about making a movie, learning the tricks the

filmmakers use to get the perfect scene. 

What type of films would you like to make?

•  I would like to create films that can make people laugh or smile. Even other kinds

of films that people will enjoy and capture their attention. 

What are three of your favorite movies?-embed trailers or screen shots and explain

why you enjoy these films.

•   I like those funny Super Bowl commercials because they can make you laugh or

they can be joyful, like those cute Budweiser films. I like to watch the shows "Grey's 

Anatomy" and "The Office". Grey's Anatomy always has you wondering what's going

to happen next, and The Office is just really funny.  I like the Blind Side, Safe Haven, 

and The Change-Up.

What is your favorite movie genre?

•   I enjoy watching comedy or action/adventure movies. I even like some movies

that are funny with a good meaning behind the plot of the movie. 

What motivates you to work hard?

•  I can be motivated if I want to get good grades, if others are depending on me to

get something done, or if  I am learning something interesting and I want to make

the most of it. I can also be motivated to work hard if  bribed by food :) . 

What are five concerns that you have now in your life?

1) My Dad not allowing me to go to a college other than UVM. 

2) Graduating. 

3) Not getting on the red carpet at the Gawliks

4) Failing Calculus

5) Not being creative enough in Creative Writing

What was your favorite subject in school? Why?

• I enjoy free block, and I have a feeling I will enjoy this cinema class. I guess I could

say math or science only because I am better in those subjects rather than english or

history.
